Welcome to the summer reading blog!  This summer you will be reading Tales of the Fourth Grade Nothing  by Judy Blume.  I hope you enjoy it - I just loved it!

*This will be 10% of your first quarter reading grade.  It is important that you complete this.  You may read it at your own pace, as long as it is done by September 3rd.

*Remember, you must have 3 complete sentences in order to receive full credit.  You must also restate part of the question in your answer.

What context clues did you use to help you find the meaning of this word?

Use a dictionary to find the real definition. Was your definition correct?

Chapter 5 "The Birthday Bash"

List at least 4 things that went wrong at the birthday party

Chapter 6 "Fang Hits Town"

What silly thing embarrasses Mrs. Hatcher at Bloomingdales? Would you have been embarrassed? Why or why not?

Chapter 7 "The Flying Train Committee"

Find two opinions in this chapter.  Why are they opinions?
