Practice Post

This is your practice post.  You must type your first name at the top of each response.  To reply to this, please write about one thing you'd like to do this summer.

Don't Forget

You must write your name at the top of each of your posts, otherwise you won't get credit for it. Without your name at the top, I will not be able to tell who wrote the post.

Chapter 1 "The Big Winner"

Describe Peter’s biggest problem.

Chapter 2 "Mr. and Mrs. Juicy-O"

Read the following sentence from page 10: ―And that’s one of his favorite pastimes—banging pots and pans together. Use the context clues to figure out what the word ―pastime means?

What context clues did you use to help you find the meaning of this word?

Use a dictionary to find the real definition. Was your definition correct?

Chapter 3 "The Family Dog"

What do you think about how Peter's  dad tried to get Fudge to eat?

What else could Mr. and Mrs. Hatcher have tried to get Fudge to eat?

Chapter 4 "My Brother the Bird"

How are Peter’s and his mother’s opinions about Sheila different?

How do you think you would feel about Sheila?
